Ghent, Belgium
Ghent is one of my favorite cities in which to spend a day in Belgium. Its history is equal to Bruges without as many tourists.
This shopfront (a winner of our door of the week competition) with an eye-catching teal blue door has a lot going on. The eclectic mix of items in the window invites you into a quirky shop. The carved scenes above the door suggests that the building is steeped in history.
Why not grab a seat at the cafe next door and admire this beautiful example of Belgian architecture?
