Kristiansund, Norway
A Norwegian road trip can’t be beat. In addition to spectacular scenery (think plenty of fjords, waterfalls, and mountains), we also found plenty of charming towns situated at the water’s edge.
This 18th century blue door sits on the harbour in Kristiansund. The flowers, owl, and little heart, add a touch of whimsy to the scene.
I could just imagine this building as a customs house or home to a harbour master. The building is clearly steeped in history.
