Sex and the City [Door of the Month]

White door with ornate moulding. The door sits at the top of a staircase shaded by an intricate wrought iron porch. There are flowers, pumpkins, and halloween decorations lining the stairs.

New York, NY, USA

I’ll admit, I had my October door of the month all picked out and ready to go. Then, I took a door photography walk on a business trip to New York City last week and BOO! 👻

I spotted this spooktacular Halloween door along the edge of Gramercy Park and it was an immediate “stop the press” situation as far as I was concerned.

I love the ornate decorations of the cream colored door and how it contrasts with the intricate wrought iron on the porch. I think this door would stand out at any time of year, but I also absolutely love the combination of elegant plants and pumpkins with some scary Halloween decorations sprinkled in.

I also learned that this beautiful door plays home to Carrie Bradshaw in Sex and the City: And Just Like That!

This was the right door spotted at the perfect seasonal moment, don’t you think?
