Lyon, France
Lyon is a foodie city at heart, but one that also sates my appetite for beautiful doors.
I visited Lyon for a weekend and was amazed by the array of elegant French doors that I found there. Many of the doors were forged from elegantly stained wood. However, I did find a number of doors with colors that truly pop like this one.
I spotted this purple door on my Lyon trip. The metalwork hinges (a key decorative element of a door’s anatomy) truly make this door special, don’t you think?
