Ålesund, Norway
Ålesund is known for over-the-top Art Nouveau architecture (which I love). The town was completely rebuilt in this style after a devastating fire in January 1904.
The delightful color of the door leading into this corner boutique caught my eye because of its welcoming simplicity. The garland around the door suggests hope for a perpetual Spring.
For those unfamiliar with Ålesund, the city is a fantastic gateway for exploring the fjords on a Norwegian road trip.
