Omodos, Cyprus
Cyprus is a country steeped in ancient history. Head to the less touristy interior hill towns to discover local Cypriot wines.
I took a Cyprus road trip for a family wedding and had the opportunity to explore some out of the way places by car.
It was in Omodos that I discovered this spectacular and ornate purple door. I love the richly decorated panels and the carved mullion (a key functional and decorative element of a door’s anatomy)
Both the color and style make this Cyprus door truly special, don’t you think?
