Alcântara
Lisbon’s doors are unparalleled in their beauty. Normally, I gravitate to doors surrounded by beautiful Portuguese tiles.
In this case, it was the color that drew me in: a bright red door on a bright red wall. Lisbon can be a little chaotic at times and the sagging power lines really captured that for me.
I spotted this colorful door on a walk in Alcântara. Not only did I find beautiful doors in this neighborhood, but I also stumbled upon some spectacular views at Miradouro do Largo das Necessidades across the street from this door.
This area is definitely one of Lisbon’s hidden gems.
