Merrion Square

Merrion Square is where I go to find the best doors in Dublin. There are two ways that I like to appreciate the Georgian doors that you’ll find here.

1. Take a morning walk in Merrion Square Park and admire the doors in context peeking out from behind flowers and trees in the distance.
2. Do a lap around Merrion Square (one of my favorite Dublin walks) and take some doortraits right up close.

This classic red Georgian door has a spectacular fanlight and historic bootscrapers which lend the entrance a period elegance.
