The community has spoken! The Doors, Glorious Doors by Sidewalk Safari door of the week for the week of August 31, 2026 is Team Scaramouche.
This week’s theme was The Doors of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Team Scaramouche ran away with it: fringe-goers papered its ironwork with real show bills for Baby Everything, Table for Two, and The Day of the Locust, turning the doorway itself into a piece of festival ephemera. A heart-shaped dried flower wreath on the violet door and a rowan laden with red berries didn’t hurt either.
How did the votes break down? It wasn’t close. Team Scaramouche took 64% of the vote, Team Earnest held second with 26%, and Team Janis finished third with 10%.
Team Scaramouche: 64%
Team Earnest: 26%
Team Janis: 10%
