Alvor, Portugal
A trip to the Algarve in winter is a great opportunity for a sun holiday in Portugal. We visited the small town of Alvor which is most well-known for birdwatching on the boardwalk that snakes its way among the sand dunes.
I was pleasantly surprised when we walked into the village of Alvor and discovered that the doors here are something special. This white door set in a bright pink wall made this December trip a little bit sunnier.
