I spotted this ornate white door on a trip to the Algarve in winter. Portimão is a city of about 50,000 people and is a fun place to do a little shopping and take a photowalk.
This door with absolutely fabulous moulding and intricate metalwork covering the lites in the door panels made me stop in my tracks.
The rich decoration of the door itself contrasts with the blunt stucco of the surrounding wall making this lawyer’s office an intriguing juxtaposition of styles.
